Fly Tying

What a great hobby to start during these cold winter months… get stocked up for your spring fly fishing expeditions! In this 4 night progressive class you will learn to tie basic flies common to our area and useful knots you will continue to use. Supplies included.

Creative Writing

The more you write the luckier you get and each time you start a piece there’s an opportunity to get luckier than ever. The trick is getting started. Here you’ll not only begin four new pieces, but will learn strategies to begin many more. The 2-hour session is open to writers of all levels and experience.

Don’t let the cold weather stop you from exercising this winter, grab a friend and walk the halls inside where it’s nice and climate controlled! November 1, 2016-March 23, 2017, Monday thru Thursdays, 6:30-8:30pm @ Hacker Middle School. Grab those athletic shoes, a bottle of water and a partner, get exercising!

Conquering Cholesterol

Join registered dietitian, Laurie Moulton, to learn what raises and lowers good and bad cholesterol and how you can use your diet to help improve your numbers by eating heart healthy foods. Also, gain knowledge on the different types of fat and how they affect your cholesterol.
